Project Summary

The Highliner Hotel was designed to be more than a place to stay. It was designed to be a feeling. A historic coastal building reimagined into a luxury boutique experience where every room, every detail, and every finish dares to be unforgettable.

This project began with a full gut renovation, taking the building down to the shell and rebuilding it from the framing forward. Jessica Sullivan Design provided full service interior design, interior styling, and project management, leading the transformation of every interior space, from the guest rooms to the lobby and all common areas, creating a cohesive, high impact environment that feels elevated, intentional, and iconic.

Every design decision was made to balance function and beauty, while delivering a bold visual experience that still feels timeless. Materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and styling were thoughtfully selected to ensure each space delivers a refined guest experience that is layered, immersive, and effortlessly luxurious.

Beyond the design itself, we handled the complete selection and execution of the furnishings and styling process. From sourcing to ordering, delivery coordination, staging, and final placement, each room was curated as a complete moment where guests do not just walk in, they arrive.
